Overview
Awake BabyCam is a private baby monitoring app that lets one device act as a child station and another device act as a parent viewer.
Information We Collect
Awake BabyCam may process the following information to provide app functionality:
- Camera and microphone access for live monitoring, sound detection, and movement status while monitoring features are enabled.
- Notification permission so the parent device can receive monitoring alerts.
- Room and pairing information, including room codes, device identifiers, connection state, and related technical information used to connect the child station and parent viewer.
- Subscription status and entitlement information through Apple and RevenueCat when you purchase a subscription.
- Limited diagnostics or analytics information, such as app errors, crash reports, device type, app version, and feature usage events.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide baby monitoring features, connect child and parent devices, detect sound and movement status, send optional alerts, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, diagnose issues, and respond to support requests.
Video and Audio
Awake BabyCam is designed for private monitoring between paired devices. Camera and microphone access is used to provide monitoring features while the child station is active.
Do not use Awake BabyCam to monitor anyone without appropriate consent where required by law.
Third-Party Services
Awake BabyCam may use third-party services, including:
- Apple App Store for in-app purchases and subscription billing.
- RevenueCat for subscription status, customer information, and entitlements.
- Firebase for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or app reliability monitoring.
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain information only as needed to provide app functionality, maintain subscriptions, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and resolve support issues.
Your Choices
You can control camera, microphone, and notification permissions in your device settings.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children's Privacy
Awake BabyCam is intended for use by parents and guardians. It is not intended for use by children directly.
Safety Notice
Awake BabyCam is not a medical device and does not replace adult supervision. You are responsible for supervising your child and ensuring the monitoring setup is appropriate and safe.
